Information we do not collect

The developer does not collect any personal information through this app. In particular, the app does not include:

• User accounts or sign-in of any kind
• Analytics or usage-tracking SDKs
• Crash reporting SDKs
• Advertising SDKs or advertising identifiers
• Any developer-operated server the app sends your data to

Photos

The app accesses your photos only through Apple's Photos framework (PhotoKit), and only after you grant permission in iOS or iPadOS.

• Photos are read from your library so they can be displayed on this device, and are not uploaded to external servers.
• The app may keep small thumbnails and display-sized images in a local cache on this device so that the photo frame runs smoothly. This cache stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app.
• The app stores the identifiers of the albums you select, so it can show the same photos the next time you open it.
• The app does not export, share, or modify your photos unless you explicitly ask it to.

Limited Photos Access is fully supported. If you choose it, you decide exactly which photos this app can see, and you can change that selection at any time in the Settings app.

Calendar

If you turn on the calendar features and grant permission, the app reads your calendar events on this device to show your next event. Event information is not uploaded to external servers, and the app does not create, edit, or delete events.

Weather and location

If you turn on the weather display (part of the paid features) and grant location permission, the app uses your location to show local weather. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather (WeatherKit), and your location is sent to Apple in order to retrieve the forecast.

• Your location is never sent to the developer or to any other server.
• Your location is not stored alongside your photos.
• The app takes a location reading only when it needs one for the weather, and never tracks your location continuously or in the background.
• If you leave the weather display off, the app never requests access to your location.

Information stored on your device

The following is stored locally on your device only:

• Your display settings, such as the clock, calendar, transitions, and night dimming
• The identifiers of the albums and photos you selected
• A local image cache used for display
• Your purchase state for the paid features

This information may also be included in your own iCloud or computer backup of the device, which is under your control. It is never sent to the developer.

Widget

If you add the Living Photo widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen, the app places the photo to be shown into a shared storage area on this device so that the widget can display it. This area is part of the app's own local storage on your device and is not uploaded anywhere.

Purchases

The optional paid features are sold as an in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. Payment and billing information is processed by Apple and is never sent to or seen by the developer. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles this information.

Sharing with third parties

The developer does not sell, rent, or share any of your information with third parties, because the developer never receives it in the first place.

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them. As described above, the app does not collect personal information from any user.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new update date. Significant changes will also be described in the app's release notes.
